Privacy Notice

Last updated: May 12, 2026

PropertyScanExpress, operated by ATERNA LLC, respects your privacy. This notice explains what information we collect when you book a scan, how we use it, and the choices you have.

We do not sell personal information. We do not show third-party advertising on the site. We collect only what we need to deliver the service and run the business.

01

Information we collect

From the order form: your first and last name, email, phone number, what type of buyer you are (real estate agent, interior designer, remodeling or inspection crew, commercial owner or broker, or other), optional company or brokerage name, the property street address you want scanned, your preferred scan date, and the tier you selected.

From payment: our merchant of record collects your payment details directly. We receive a transaction reference, the amount paid, and the billing email. We never see or store your full card number.

From the scan: photographs and 3D capture data of the interior and exterior of the property you booked. We do not intentionally capture identifiable people. Any incidental capture is treated as sensitive and can be reshot or removed on request.

From our website: standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, referring page) for security and abuse-prevention. We use a small number of essential cookies for session and authentication. We do not currently use third-party advertising or analytics cookies. If that changes, this notice will be updated and a consent banner added.

02

How we use your information

We use the information you provide to schedule and deliver your scan, send order confirmations and the finished tour URL, respond to your questions, handle refunds and disputes, send operational notifications relevant to your booking, and comply with our legal obligations.

We may use anonymous or aggregated data (with all personal identifiers removed) to evaluate and improve our service. We will not use your data to train any general-purpose AI model or sell it to third parties.

03

Third-party processors

We share data only with vetted service providers who help us run the business under contract:

  • Paddle.com Market Ltd. and affiliates ("Paddle") acts as our merchant of record. Paddle handles card processing, tax calculation, invoicing, and chargebacks. See Paddle's privacy policy for how they handle payment data.
  • A transactional email provider (sends confirmation, delivery, and support emails).
  • A cloud hosting and database provider for the website and the order data.
  • A scheduling provider for the post-payment booking calendar.
  • Specialized 3D capture and processing services used in our proprietary delivery pipeline.

Each provider only sees the data they need to deliver their piece. None of them sell your data. We can provide a current list of named subprocessors on request.

04

How long we keep it

Order records and the finished tour data are kept for the duration of your hosting term plus an additional twelve months for accounting and warranty purposes. After that period, we delete or anonymize the data unless a longer retention is required by law.

You may request earlier deletion at any time. Some records connected to invoicing and tax may be retained as required by our jurisdiction.

05

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You also have the right to ask us not to sell or share your personal information for advertising, which we do not do.

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@propertyscanexpress.com. We respond within thirty days. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests.

06

Children

PropertyScanExpress is a business-to-business service. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of sixteen. If you believe a child has provided us information, email us and we will delete it.

07

Security

We use industry-standard practices to secure data in transit and at rest, including TLS for all traffic and encrypted storage for order records. No method is one hundred percent secure. If a breach occurs that affects your data, we will notify you promptly.

08

Changes to this notice

If we materially change this notice, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where required, notify affected customers by email. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated notice.
